On September 29, 2026, as part of continuing commitment to environmental protection and community engagement, Globalport Ozamiz Terminal Inc. (GOTI) participated in a Tree Planting Activity conducted as part of the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo 2026) celebration. The activity was led by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), together with participating personnel and partner organizations.
Approximately 500 seedlings, consisting of Palawan Cherry, Bamboo, and Narra, were planted in the designated area. The collaborative effort brought together government agencies, private-sector representatives, and partner organizations demonstrating a shared commitment to promote greening initiatives and contribute to the conservation and restoration of the environment.
GOTI’s participation in the tree planting activity reflects its continuing commitment to environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and meaningful community engagement. The initiative reinforces the importance of collective action and responsible environmental stewardship in creating a greener, healthier, and more sustainable community for future generations.
