In support of the coastal conservation and environmental protection through mangrove planting, while promoting environmental stewardship and strengthening commitment to corporate social responsibility. Globalport Agusan Terminal Inc. (GATI) joined the Port Management Office of Agusan (PMO Agusan) in a Mangrove Tree Planting Activity held at San Roque Beach, Brgy. Punta, Nasipit, Agusan del Norte.
The activity was held on September 25, 2026 in celebration of National Maritime Week and MANA Mo 2026, bringing together various government agencies, community representatives, and partner organizations in support of marine and coastal conservation.
A total of 100 mangrove seedlings were planted by the participating personnel along the coastal area of San Roque Beach. The activity provided an opportunity for the participating organizations to contribute directly to the preservation and rehabilitation of coastal ecosystems.
GATI’s participation demonstrates its continuous commitment to environmental stewardship, coastal conservation, corporate social responsibility, and support efforts to protect marine ecosystems and promote sustainable and resilient coastal communities through collaborative initiatives.
