Job Description:
The Yard Operations Officers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a yard or storage facility. They ensure that all equipment and materials are properly stored, maintained, and accounted at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all container moves within the yard area are properly planned and stacked in the assigned positions to achieve the desired yard pattern, allocating the correct number of equipment to reach maximum productivity and efficiency with minimum equipment used.
2. Perform survey and analyze results to implement all safe work procedures.
3. Coordinate with other officers and receive all materials and prepare necessary paperwork’s.
4. Are tasked with overseeing workers at shipyards and junkyards.
5. Checks and ensures that all releasing documents are correct and complete.
6. Maintain shipping and employee records, manage inventory of all cargoes.
7. Also make sure safety procedures are followed and they’re responsible for ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and receiving procedures.
8. Performs other functions as may be requested by superiors.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or any related field required.
- Hands-on experience Port Operations.
- Excellent in managing people
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- PC literacy – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheet and etc.
