Globalport Matnog Terminal Inc. successfully carried out a coastal clean-up drive on March 15, 2026, along the 1.5-kilometer shoreline of Brgy. Tabunan-Mantaid, Matnog. This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative reflects the company’s continued commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders, including the Barangay Officials, MNHS Senior High School Boy Scouts, LGU Matnog MENRO, EMET personnel, and Cruz Intelligence Sentinel Security Group. Their collective participation demonstrated a strong sense of unity and shared responsibility in preserving the coastal environment.
A total of 87 kilograms of waste was collected during the clean-up, significantly contributing to the improvement of the shoreline’s cleanliness and the protection of marine ecosystems. The initiative not only helped reduce pollution but also raised awareness about the importance of proper waste management and environmental conservation among community members.
