Job Description:
Plans, directs, and oversees the implementation of the human resources strategies, systems, programs, projects, services, to support the company’s overall strategic aims and objectives. Maintains functions such as manpower planning and forecasting, developing, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies, procedures and employment rules, department budget and resource management, talent acquisition and retention systems including compensation and benefits administration, people development, performance management, employee/ labour relations and wellness.
Job Accountabilities:
- Develops, implements, and maintains HR and administrative policies and procedures that are communicated in a timely and comprehensible manner, to ensure effective, fair and consistent people management throughout the company; and periodically reviews these for updatedness and applicability through research and benchmarking.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment laws.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to all HR functions.
- Provides senior leadership with HR – related and data – driven reports with recommendations and course of actions.
- Organizes the manpower resources of all terminals by establishing a lean but functional organizational structure aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Hires, guides, and evaluates the performance of HR Managers. Coaches and mentors HR Leaders with respect to the team’s goals and targets.
- Re-engineers processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Behavioral Science, Organization Development or related field.
- Proven experience as HR Head or other Senior HR Role for at least five (5) years.
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources Management.
- Superior leadership skills
