On February 27, 2026, Globalport Bohol Terminal Inc. (GBTI) successfully conducted a coastal clean-up activity at Barangay Bingag as part of its continuing commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
The initiative was actively participated in by GBTI employees, in collaboration with Hon. Pojas, the LGU Solid Waste Management of Dauis, and the DENR Bohol. The joint effort underscored the shared responsibility of both public and private sectors in protecting coastal ecosystems and promoting proper waste management practices.
Through collective teamwork and dedication, the activity successfully gathered a total of 24 cubic meters of waste along the coastal area. This significant volume highlights both the impact of the clean-up effort and the ongoing need for sustained environmental action in coastal communities.
GBTI continues to support initiatives that promote environmental awareness, sustainable practices, and the preservation of marine and coastal resources, reinforcing its role as a responsible corporate citizen in Bohol.
