The Globalport Tacloban held a Livelihood Activity – Hair Cutting & Coloring

Last November 21, 2025, in collaboration with the Community Livelihood and Extension Program (CLEP) of the City Government of Tacloban, a one-day activity was conducted at the Globalport Conference Office, providing training to the family members of GTTI and SAC employees.

The trainers delivered lectures on the basic foundations of hairdressing, including the proper use of hair tools, safe handling practices, and accurate measurement of hair chemicals used for coloring and treatment. They also demonstrated various hair cutting and coloring techniques and assisted participants during the hands-on activity.

This program aims to equip participants with skills that can help them start their own livelihood and create employment opportunities—an initiative that Globalport strongly supports as part of its commitment to social responsibility within the community.

Participants also received starter kits, which they can use as they begin their initial hairdressing ventures.
