On October 12, 2025, the GMTI Team, in partnership with the PENRO-DENR Sorsogon and under the supervision of Mr. Futol (DENR Inspector), successfully conducted a Mangrove Tree Planting Activity in Matnog, Sorsogon. Barangay officials were also active participants in the initiative, which Mr. Futol witnessed.
As part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, with the theme “Isang Puno, Isang Buhay,” a total of 5,000 mangrove propagules were planted. This initiative directly supports environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and the rehabilitation of the local coastal areas.
Despite the challenging, muddy, and slippery terrain, the participants’ dedication, teamwork, and shared commitment ensured the activity’s success, powerfully showcasing a collective spirit of unity and responsibility toward the environment.
