On September 20, 2025, Globalport Matnog actively participated in the International Coastal Clean-Up Drive held at Barangay Camcaman, Matnog. This vital environmental initiative saw a strong showing of commitment from various partner organizations, including the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), local Barangay Officials, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), and several other dedicated private groups. This collective mobilization served as a powerful, hands-on demonstration of our shared responsibility to the environment and the preservation of crucial marine resources.
The success of the clean-up effort went beyond simply clearing debris from the coastline; it significantly strengthened partnerships between government agencies and the private sector. By working shoulder-to-shoulder, the participants not only achieved a cleaner and healthier coastline but also effectively promoted community awareness.
