Job Description:
The Procurement Associate is primarily responsible in monitoring and identifying purchasing needs of the assigned port. This function is also in charge of conducting market research and ensures timely delivery.
Qualifications:
– Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Management Economics, and other related/equivalent courses.
– Preferably 1-2 years’ experience specializing in procurement, sales functions & procedures, purchasing, inventory, material & warehouse management or equivalent.
– In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory, and supply management.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
– Impeccable time management
– Strong organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing and the ability to maintain vendor relationships.
