GOTI Empowers Community with Hand and Foot Care Training

Globalport Ozamiz Terminal Inc. (GOTI) successfully hosted the “Handog Kabuhayan: Training on Hand and Foot Care Services,” on November 18, 2024. It aimed to empowering local community members by providing them with valuable livelihood skills.

The training was conducted by Ms. Lovely Tina Chua-Intong, a teacher in the DepEd TVL/TLE program, a TESDA Competency Assessor and Trainer in Massage Therapy NCII, and a National TVET Trainer specializing in Beauty Care (Nail Care) Services NCII. Her expert instruction provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience, equipping them with the skills needed to offer hand and foot care services.

The program was attended by 14 participants, mainly spouses and relatives of selected employees from Richland United, GOTI’s partner organization. This initiative reflects Globalport Ozamiz’s commitment to supporting the local community by creating new livelihood opportunities and helping participants develop skills that can enhance their financial independence
