On August 21, 2024, Globalport Ozamiz Terminal Inc. (GOTI) proudly conducted a brief yet impactful turnover ceremony at Baybay Central School as part of its “Handog Karunungan: Adopt-a-School” program. This meaningful initiative underscores Globalport’s continued dedication to enriching the educational experiences of local students.
During the ceremony, GOTI generously donated a 50-inch smart TV and a desktop computer set to the school, providing valuable tools to enhance the learning environment and facilitate modern teaching methods. These donations aim to improve both the quality and accessibility of educational resources for students and faculty alike.
The event was graciously hosted by Ms. Catherine C. Oracion, the school principal, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the support. The turnover ceremony was well attended by several key figures, including Mr. John Docdor, the executive assistant to the city mayor, Ms. Rhona Agustin, a representative from the Department of Education (DepEd) Ozamiz, along with teachers, faculty members, students, and GOTI employees, led by General Manager Mr. Eugene Bandayrel.
