The main function of a Vessel and Yard Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate vessel operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. They conduct work briefings, monitor operational activities, check cargo documentation, submit progress reports, handle incidents and irregularities, ensure proper documentation compliance, and perform other assigned functions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong People Management and Leadership Skills
• Strong verbal and written Communication Skills
• Problem-solving and Decision-making Skills
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and submitting reports in a timely manner
• In depth knowledge of vessel operations, yard management, relevant industry regulations, and procedures

The Gatekeeper is responsible for monitoring all inbound and outbound cargo truck withdrawals. Checks the accuracy of the Bill of Lading based on the description and actual quantity of cargoes. Issues entry pass to customers and monitors truck stay time.
